Welcome to St Andrew's Church

A church building has served this community as the Church of England worship centre for Jesus on Hillock over 30 years. In this building children have been baptized, couples married and grieving families have brought their loved ones for funerals.

The building is very practical and is used for many activities besides the worship of Jesus and marking important times in the lives of our community. We have a full range of activities, for all ages, taking place each and every week.

But the church in this community is much more than a building and the things it can be used for. The real church is the people who make up it's regular worshipping membership. They and the building are here to serve the local community by providing all those activities, being an active part of the area where we live, and praying for all in this parish.

St Andrew's Church

We do this because we believe in a God who created and sustains this world and everything in it. We also believe that He wants a relationship, based on love, with all His creation - including you.
It is because God desires this relationship that He sent His Son, Jesus, to show us how to live a life in unity with God. He taught of and lived His life in obedience to God's will and plan, ultimately dying to free us from all that is wrong in our lives. He destroyed the power of sin and death by rising to life and now reigns in heaven with His Father.
Not only that but He sent His Holy Spirit to live in each believer to help them live His life and to bring hope and life to all.
